HOW DO I BECOME A HADDONFIELD AUXILIARY POLICE OFFICER?

* Officers must perform a minimum of 8 hours service per month, and be residents of Haddonfield, New Jersey.

* Officers must be at least 21 years of age, and possess a valid NJ drivers license.

* Applicants must undergo and pass a criminal background check.

* Applicants must successfully pass an initial training program of approximately 40 hours.

* Applicants must be physically fit to perform the duties of an Auxiliary Officer. 

* The appointment of Auxiliary Officers is entirely subject to the sole discretion of the Chief of Police.
